Branded under #SpreadSomeLove and launched in 2019, Runako & Co was born from a father's heartfelt quest for healthier skin for himself and his daughter. Inspired by the Shona word Runako, meaning "beautiful," our formula is thoughtfully crafted for all skin types, providing deep hydration, soothing relief, and lasting moisture.

Co-founder Tawanda Gumbo, who struggled with dry skin for years, began crafting his own body butter—experimenting with different butters and essential oils until he created a beloved household staple.

That creation is now Runako Healthy Skin Organic Body Butter, made with beeswax imported from Zimbabwe, shea butter sourced from Ghana, and organic cocoa butter—all blended with pure, natural essential oils.
