Mufaro: As an accounting student I have always put my mental health first. Being a student can be very emotionally draining. So I keep a balance by making videos on my YouTube channel. Giving myself a day off. Exercising and healthy eating is also very helpful for my mental health. My personal goals include getting my Youtube channel monetized, hoping it will grow and continue to make a positive influence. Working on my toxic traits. Learning Self love by learning to know my worth.
“Mental Health Hour,” is the first activity I partake in every morning when I wake up. It’s simple I wake up, meditate, pray, write in my journal and then read a book. This is done before I even touch my phone, work out, check emails or get connected to the world. I feel I have to connect to myself first before I get connected to the world. Thus “Mental Health Hour” has become very important to my daily routine.
Not only does she use the product but she has watched us build this company from the ground up. She was our human canvas, an early user of our butter until we got that consistency right. Her watching this process has been very important to me, because as a little black girl she gets to learn. She is learning how she can take her own passion, her ideas, apply them and watch what amazing results can come. She is learning she can do any of that, just by trying.
